Created with the concept of “Defining Concepts in Current Media,” The Philosophical Angle is hosted by Chris Angle and features two (usually) regular panelists:

– Mark Brennan: Professor at the Stern School of Business, New York University. He is also the American editor of The Quarterly Review of London, England, Established 1809

– Rick Samuelson graduated from Yale, has an MBA from Wharton; and an MA from Tufts He is retired from the investment banking industry.

Other panelists appear as special guests from time to time.

1) The Purpose of The Philosophical Angle is to examine the nature of the concepts being used in current media and compare the essence of the concept with the usage and circumstances in which the term is being used.

2) The Format of the Philosophical Angle is that the host brings forth an opening statement on the nature of the concept for your consideration and the distinguished panel will react with criticisms, questions, and their own definitions.

3) The Direction of the Stock Market

Each month the Philosophical Angle takes a special look at the stock market by discussing its outlook. The host, Chris Angle, is the editor of the RITE Report.

The RITE Report generates indices from the monthly compilation of corporate, business, economic, & political news snippets that have a directional bias inherent within the headline. These News Indices are Used as Factors for Prognostication of Market Direction with Risk Analysis for Hedging Considerations. 4) What Would You Do

Periodically, there is a special edition of the Philosophical Angle. We take note of worldly or international predicaments of moment to the U.S. and render this to our panel and to our listening audience by posing the great conundrum:

What would you do were you the president?
